Below are some popular console with some details about them ... ... (that will appear .... I think: D)
PlayStation 4

If all found itself next generation consoles would be good to know that if you were one of those who hate the Cell, you'll probably avoid Playstation 4 because it will use the same processor. A recent report suggests that a Japanese publications Sony would devise to keep Cell technology for next generation of Playstation.
This decision not only would save the company several tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars in research, but would have a lot of beneficial effects such as compatibility with games for PlayStation 3 and greater support from the manufacturers, who by then probably will be used to the Cell. It was speculated that the new model will include 24 or 32 processing nodes and will have a higher perceived performance than that now. Also, keep current technology would mean that the next Playstation could reach the market before its direct competitor, the Xbox 720.
Xbox 720
xbox720
The people from Microsoft have said they want to launch Xbox 720 in 2011-2012. Further improvements:
- Blu-ray player
-without the ring of death
-best online services
-room on it
Voice-activity of the person playing him
I mean will be like a ps3.

A new console will appear and will be produced by those from Apple.

PSP2

According to the Eurogamer, source close to Sony, will be launched in the near future a new Play Station Portable.
hot-psp-render.jpg
Until then, most likely Sony will launch in 2009 a new update to the current series (PSP-4000) with slight modifications in design and include a chip dedicated to games produced by Sega. The last update was made this summer (PSP-3000) and consisted in improving the display and include a mirofon prentru VoIP.
Model referred to Eurogamer is a totally new, could bear the name "PSP2" and is expected to reach store shelves during 2010-2011.
The big houses have already announced games working on new games specially designed for the next generation of PSP. Certainly Carmen in a future edition of FreeZone will bring additional information about manufacturers titles prepared for the new PSP2.

Nintendo DSI

nintendo-dsi-1
Nintendo DSi available in white or black, is equipped with two touchscreen displays (DS was only a touch screen) higher, 3.25 inches, VGA camera, SD card slot and hardware + software forlistening to tracks MP3. Another feature offered by the new console is implementing a browserthat lets you download games from Nintendo's servers, which of course games can then be stored on the card. Chapter building and some positive changes have occurred - DSi is thinner and slightly more compact. Although it seems hard to believe, portable consoles, Nintendo is situated, in terms of global sales (but here have a huge share sales in Asia), over much performance Sony PSP.Maybe in Romania the situation is reversed, and because of this promotion enjoyed Sony products.
Nintendo DSi will be released on November 1, 2008 in Japan, at a price of about $ 180. The European market will receive DSi console until 2009.

Edit 2010:
Playstaion Motion Controller:
The Game Developers Conference, taking place these days in San Francisco, Sony has entered directly into the subject and presented himself Shuhei Yshida motion detector of the PlayStation 3, which Sony wants to seduce all the players, PlayStation Move. Then, Peter Dille to climb on stage to make a summary of PlayStation history between 2009 - 2010: Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, price drops in the fall of 2009, MAG, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles and of course God of War III. The same, Dille took to amitescă future major appearances PS3: ModNation Racers, Gran Turismo 5 (is this year) and SOCOM 4.
Returning to the topic of the day, Dill admitted that "Nintendo has done a great job by introducing motion gaming, but Sony believes that now wants to move to a higher stage. As expected, magic wand is accompanied by a second enhancement, wireless. It is called the PlayStation Move the controller and has an analogue stick toys certain games (eg SOCOM 4).
For Sony, PlayStation Move is equally important to launch a new platform, and will be accompanied by a massive campaign in late 2010. Toy price will not exceed $ 100, and will be sold in bundle with a PlayStation Eye and a game.
Sony ran a clip showing some games: Move Party, Superstars, Shot, Slider, etc.. It brings exactly what you think: a Wii as the PS3, with a little more refined graphics. From what I can see the trailer below, recognition of movements and placement in space seem to work pretty well.
Some games will require use of a single controller, while others will require two controllers, and others will involve the use of sub-controller. See below five trailers with Sony press conference and a few screenshots of upcoming games for PlayStation 3:
English now (a lot of informations):
PlayStation Move is a motion-sensing game controller platform for the PlayStation 3 video game console by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). Based on the handheld motion controller wand, PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye webcam to track the wand's position, and inertial sensors to detect its motion.First revealed on June 2, 2009, PlayStation Move is slated for worldwide launch in Q3/Q4 2010. Move PlayStation hardware available at launch includes the main PlayStation Move motion controller, and an optional sub-Move PlayStation controller. [1]
Although PlayStation Move is implemented on the existing PlayStation 3 console, Sony states that it is treating PlayStation Move's debut as its own major "platform launch," planning an aggressive marketing campaign to support it. In addition to selling the controllers individually, [2] Sony also plans to provide several different options for PlayStation Move bundle hardware, including:
a starter kit with a PlayStation Eye, the PlayStation Move motion controller, and a demo / sampler disc, priced under U.S. $ 100, [3]
the full pack with a PlayStation 3 console PlayStation 3 consoles, DualShock 3, PlayStation Eye, and PlayStation Move motion controller, and
bundles of the PlayStation Move motion controller with select games. [2]

Specific pricing has not been decided. [1]

The Next Wii (Wii 2, Wii HD):
We already know the sequel to the Wii is in the works - Nintendo 'fessed up to that last Summer - but exactly what shape will it take?
We're hoping that Nintendo will make some giant leaps with the new consoles, but enough of our hopes for Wii 2.
Join TechRadar Wade in the grubby filthiest rumour through the sewers, as we predict which of the many tall tales about the next Wii is the most feasible.
Will the Wii 2 be just a minor revision - smaller, cheaper and no longer old-iPod white?
Nintendo certainly has a worrying tendency towards so-so updates, having released far too many revisions of the Game Boy and DS range that often only superficially alter their design. This time though, it's very unlikely - Nintendo's R & D spend climbed from $ 103m to the giddying $ 370mA between 2006 and 2007, so there's definitely something big in the pipeline.
The next Wii will be high definition? And will it be called Wii HD?
This one's basically a given. If Nintendo made one oversight with the Wii, it was to settle on standard definition without an HDMI output. Despite the console's huge success, it still seems incredibly strange given the inevitability of HDTV take up. So, we're 99.99 per cent confident the next Nintendo console will be HDMI-equipped, outputting at 720p. Given its recent trend towards performing modestly hardware and its audience's clear contentment with fairly simplistic graphics, full 1080p rendering seems unlikely.
There were even reports from internal anonymous sources last September that the next console will be called simply the Wii HD, and will be roughly analogous to the jump from Game Boy to Game Boy Advance - in other words, the same essential setup, but with a little more poke in the graphical department. This also means there's scope for both the Wii and the Wii HD to co-exist for a while, so those not fussed about better graphics will not have to shell out another £ 200-odd. Look to the continued success of the PlayStation 2 even in the wake of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as proof that old and new can coexist happily.
Wii 2 will have built-in storage?
Again, more than likely. The first Wii's SD card support always felt rudimentary and tokenistic, not really designed to keep up with the explosion of downloadable games from the Wii Store - even if it was good for showing digital photos. Nintendo would be mad to throw out all the work done on the Store and the classic games hosted there to date, so some sort of internal drive to Bolster its backwards compatibility prowess is almost a necessity. Quite possibly, it'll be a small, low-power solid state drive rather than an energy-hungry, noisy hard drive - but that depends on the current sky-high price of SSDs coming down enough to be viable. Such a drive could even be built into the core console controllers to keep the cost and size down.
Will it support the original Wii games?

Another good bet - having just won a whole new audience, all those casual Gamers everyone else is now desperate to capture the hearts of, to the total tune of some 95 million, one thing Nintendo will not want to do is stairs them off. Knowing all their old Wii games will work just fine upgrade sweetens the deal. On the other hand, an optical disk drive is fairly chunky piece of kit - if Nintendo had the stones to move to download-only games, it could potentially make a much sleeker, cheaper consoles.
The Wii 2 "will not have a controller at all"
That was Intel Chief Technology Officer Justin Rattner's guess about the future-Wii back in 2007 - "You just set up the cameras around the room and wave your hand like you're playing tennis." It sounds a little pie in the sky, but It's worth restating that key to the Wii's success is that it's operated by natural gestures. Expanding on that concept, and requiring nothing more than your own body, thus makes a whole lot of sense. Plus, both Sony and Microsoft have already realized webcam-controlled games for their consoles - the essential tech's been around for years now.

Other theories for crazy controller of the next-gen Wii controller gloves have involved particular, motion-tracking body suits or even a head-mounted gadget that responds to facial Twitches and brainwave monitoring. This latter is something a few companies have experimented with as a PC game controller - notably OCZ's Neural Impulse Actuator - so the technology does exist already.Nintendo could refine it into something the mass production-friendly as they did with the Wiimote's motion sensors?

PlayStation 4 Update:
If Microsoft is secretly readying its next Xbox to succeed the Xbox 360, then surely Sony must be working on a PlayStation 4?
Rife speculation is that the next console battle will be fought around 2011-2012. This is when Crytek's CEO Cevat Yerli and industry analyst Colin Sebastian believe that a potential Xbox 720 and PS4 could appear.
Recycling PS3 for PS4
To imagine what a PS4 might be capable of we should look at what the current PS3 does not have or does not do well. For starters, Sony will need to closely integrated the hardware and software development for its next console.
According to SCEA's CEO Jack Tretton: "The hardware guys developed the [PlayStation 3] fairly independently, then dumped it onto the software guy's lap, effectively saying 'do something with it.'"
Considering that Sony spent around $ 3 billion developing the PS3, it seems likely that it will use an improved version of the Cell processor for a PS4. IBM has already released an improved version of the Cell for its blade servers. The PowerXCell 8i is a 65nm chip, with support for 32GB of DDR2 memory and eight fully-functional SPES (compared to seven on the PS3).
The advantage of recycling the Cell is that Sony could retain a familiar development environment and use existing code libraries. The modular design of the Cell architecture could also allow extra synergistic Processing Elements (SPES) to be added to future chips. Twenty or more SPES might be possible on a single 32nm Cell processor.
And if increasing the on-chip SPES is not an option in the proposed 2011-2012 time frame, then the PS4 could incorporated multiple Cell chips. IBM's Cell roadmap includes a PowerXCell 32iv, which appears to feature four PPEs (Power Processor Elements) and 32 Spes, ie four Cell chips running in parallel.
Inside the PlayStation 4

If the PS4 is a revamp of the PS3, we're likely to see some obvious technology upgrades - 802.11n to replace the existing 802.11b / g chipset, an external power supply (to reduce the size of the box and to improve cooling) ; a massive hard drive, new graphics processor and an increase in the onboard memory.
The memory architecture in the PS3 splits equally between 512MB graphics and application use and it's been suggested that this limits developer freedom. You'd expect the PS4 to address this issue, giving developers more dedicated memory on which to load game levels. Although it's worth pointing out that the PS3 (and any future Cell-based consoles) can use the SPES for maths-intensive tasks like physics.
New graphics processor
What about a replacement for the PS3's NVIDIA-built RSX graphics processor? We've already speculated that Microsoft could use Intel's general purpose Larrabee chip in its next Xbox to handle real-time physics and AI. Rumors also suggest that Intel is pimping Larrabee to Sony for the PS4.
Like any Xbox 360 replacement, the PS4 is also going to have a much bigger hard drive. This will be in readiness for a wealth of downloadable content that will include games, demos, music, movies and TV shows. A terabyte HDD is not out of the question. And in a world that will increasingly be looking to online services for content, does any PlayStation 4 still need a Blu-ray drive?
A PS4 without Blu-ray?

While the PS3 was instrumental in helping Blu-ray beat off HD DVD, there's a strong argument for dropping an optical drive from the PS4 altogether. Console owners are already downloading gigabytes-worth of game demos, video trailers, full-length movies and TV shows. With a giant hard disk in the PS4, games could simply be Piped Straight to the console on release day, long install / level load times would be eliminated.
Along with the Cell processor, the Blu-ray drive is one of the PS3's most expensive components. The PS3's high price has forced it into third place behind the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360. Sony will be keen not to price itself out of the next console battle.
As Acclaim boss Dave Perry recently claimed: "Because of the cost of making the PlayStation 3 and because they balance it at a loss, Sony basically has pretty much no chance of making money on the PS3, because it's lost more money than they made during the entire peak of the PlayStation 2 - it's not going to happen again for Sony. "
Sony can not simply slash its prices like Microsoft has recently. And Blu-ray is partly to blame. Billy Pidgeon, an analyst at market researcher IDC points out: "Blu-ray licensees would be threatened by pricing the PS3 below stand-alone Blu-ray players. The PS3 is a bit challenged on that side. "
Chasing the dream of the digital hub

Do consumers really want a PlayStation 4 that does everything? Sony's next console needs to be a machine that plays the best games. Just like the PS2 did. The PS4 could go one of two ways - a premium all-in-one box that offers Blu-ray, integrated playTV and a much larger hard drive, or a pure games machine, stripped of its expensive technology in favor of mass market appeal?

Whatever the PS4 looks like, the ultimate question to be asked is: When will it launch? Sony's Kaz Hirai has already given us a hint: "If you look at the history of the way we've managed our console business," he said, "we always try to hit the 10-year life cycle"

That might put any PS4 launch back to 2016. But when you consider that the PS2 is still chugging along in the shadow of the PS3, the PS4 could easily sit alongside and overlap the existence of the PS3.
BONUS: PS 3 Modcip:

With the huge hype surrounding Sony with great news such as the soon to be released PS3 Slim and the PSP Go announcement, it is exciting to hear there may be a PS3 Modchip from Belzar coming out soon as well. Many are asking whether this new Playstation 3 Modchip is real or even possible. The only information provided at the current site is the PS3 Modchip Belzar specs (listed below) and that it was sent out to 50 beta testers for final bug testing.
Belzar PS3 Modchip Specs:

Moreover, the PS3 Modchip video has surfaced which raises a few eyebrows whether it is a hoax or actual short footage of the modding of the Playstation 3. This video does not provide too much current details and does have a few words here and there racing ... so be warned.
Of course, with the new PS3 price drop announcement, the new Slim PS3 coming out and the popularity of the console as a whole, having a PS3 Modchip sounds amazing. Of course, this will entail long download times, burning of games and BluRay movies and more, but true fans will probably look forward to that.
So what do you think? Is this new announcement from Belzar just a hoax, or is this PS3 Modchip The Real Thing?
If you are interested in more mods in regards of looks and not functionality, check out the PS3 Mods PS3 collection and the conceptual designs that will definitely get people even more excited of the new Playstation 3design coming out in only a little over a week.

Next Xbox:
Will Microsoft launch its next-gen Xbox in 2011? There have been a couple of articles recently that have speculated on just that. We look at whether the 'Xbox 720' will feature a return to Intel chips, the inclusion of a Blu-ray drive, and more storage than you can ever fill.
A PlayStation 4 and potential 'Xbox 720' could arrive as early as 2011, estimates Crytek president and CEO Cevat Yerli. Industry analyst Colin Sebastian agrees, suggesting that "the general consensus amongst industry professionals is that the new generation of home consoles will arrive on the market in 2011 or 2012."
Terabyte Storage for the Xbox 720?

We've already speculated about what Microsoft might be planning for its third Xbox - 16 or 32 processing cores (including onboard graphics), 8GB of DDR memory, broadband connectivity and a hard disk that delivers terabytes rather than gigabytes of storage space.
More storage is a given - Microsoft has recently launched the 60GB Xbox 360 Pro, while Sony has rolled out a 160GB PlayStation 3. Both consoles are trying to sell themselves as digital hubs and any future Xbox is going to need a huge amount of space to store downloadable movies and TV shows, demos and Live Arcade games. A 60GB hard drive is nowhere near big enough.
"One of the problems with the 360," Rockstar Games founder Sat Houser told 1UP, "is the fact that they do not have a significantly larger storage medium than the previous systems. It's a slightly bigger DVD disc ... If we're filling up the drive right now, where are we going? It's not like our games are going to get any smaller. "
The solution is not just to add a Blu-ray drive to the next Xbox. The developers of Bioshock videogamer.com recently told that: "In terms of specific things, [Blu-ray] hasn't made much difference. The original game fits on a 360 disk so it was not like we were in need of room. "The ability to run games from a massive hard drive renders the optical drive virtually redundant.
Xbox 720 to feature Intel processor?

Assuming that Microsoft is not going to dumb-down the next Xbox in favor of a Wii-style family console, the next-generation of processors could give the Xbox 720 the muscle of the turn of the millennium supercomputer. A return to Intel technology might also be on the cards.

Because by 2012, Intel plans to have launched the 22nm die shrink of the Sandy Bridge architecture - that's the next architecture after Core i7 (aka Nehalem). According to TechRadar's resident geek Jeremy Laird chip, this should see CPUs with at least 16 cores, each with two threads for 32 logical processors. We might even see chips with as many as 24 or 32 cores.

Graphics-wise, the current trend on the PC side is towards outsourcing more of the physics and AI work to the GPU. So inclusion contender for the Xbox 720 might be Intel's Larrabee processor.
With its multi-core x86-based approach to graphics rendering, Larrabee is blurring the lines between traditional CPUs and GPUs. "It's not inconceivable that you might have the next gen Xbox with a relatively simple CPU," says Laird, "Just a Couple of biggish out-of-order cores, and then some Larrabee-like monster handling graphics, physics, AI and so On. "
Why Sony's Cell might have got it right

Larrabee is not just the graphics processor. It's a clever side bet by Intel on the possible future processing paradigm - highly parallel, massive floating point performance. Revolutionary? Not quite.

Wii DSi:
Nintendo has launched a new 3D game for DSi in Japan, using devices built-in cameras to track eye position with respect to two screens, and then provides a 3D world of play, in line with the position of your head.
Sounds a bit confusing at first, but if you look at the demo YouTube Kakushi Rittal's Attakoreda, you quickly see that the work depth illusion. Very good.
